Explorers! Although everyone is all hyped up for the upcoming update of 1.5, it seems like we might not be getting it this week as none of the new Dinosaurs are featured.. However, it doesn’t mean that the update might not roll out, but the odds are certainly thin. Nonetheless, with a potential meta of Bleed, Immune creatures should be welcomed with open arms by all of us!

Make sure to check out our coverage of the patch notes for 1.5!

If you’re on the fence about what to dart and what to leave behind, we’re here to help. Below is our guide on what we think is most important for you to focus on!

Monday + Tuesday (36 Attempts)
Dimetrodon Gen 2
Gallimimus
Ophiacodon

Wednesday + Thursday (18 Attempts)
Ankylocodon
Dimetrodon
Ornithomimus

Friday + Saturday + Sunday (6 Attempts)
Postimetrodon
Secodontosaurus

If we’re being honest, we feel that the days might change as they currently seem to be a mistaken repetition from last week. Be on the look-out for a change there!

Which Dino’s To Focus On This Week:

For the Commons, we would have normally shouted loud and clear: Gallimimus! However, with the recent nerf on its Hybrid Monomimus (details here), we’re on the fence. Nonetheless, all three of the Commons have decent Hybrids (if powered up to a high enough level). We would simply suggest to focus on the one(s) you normally don’t see in your Local.

For the Rares we have 3 Dinos to choose from… Ankylocodon is a powerful armor eater, but with the upcoming update, these tanks are likely to disappear from the Arena for the most part. Nonetheless, it can be pretty helpful until you build other powerful Legendaries like Tryostronix and Allosinosaurus, so you might want to use a few of your attempts for this Dino. If you’re struggling to beat tanks, it might be a worthy target. Plus, who knows, it could get a super-hybrid in the next patch.

On the other hand, Dimetrodon is clearly the best option this time. Considering the incredible boost on Tryostronix (details here), you’ll need as much Dimetrodon DNA as you can put your hands on! However, who knows what kind of Hybrids we’ll get in the future! It can also be useful, if you can spare it, to gather some DNA from Ornithomimus for a potential future Hybrid!

For the Epics, it should be an easy decision for all of us! For the same reason as we recommend to focus on Dimetrodon for the Rares, we recommend to focus on Postimetrodon for the Epics! Not that its colleague Secodontosaurus isn’t useful, because it can certainly prove to be until you put your hands on Tryostronix, but it’s always useful to think forward!

Strike Events

Will be updated once the information is announced!

Parting Words

Now remember, the update was announced (no date announced however)! We know what to focus on! You can certainly start spending your DNA and coins, but then again, did Ludia reveal all that there’s to be known about 1.5? Who knows! We might get more than we expected! Personally, we’ll hold on to our resources until the APK is analyzed! 😉

Of course, still make that vicious Tryostronix with all that Dimetrodon and Postimetrodon DNA from this week! That one will be worth it!
