Stats play a huge role in Jurassic World: Alive, as they are the underpinning for all other mechanics: moves, multipliers and arena battles. In this guide, we’ll cover the basic stats for each dinosaur and how it affects your day to day game play.
Every dinosaur in Jurassic World: Alive has four core stats:
- Health – the raw amount of HP your dinosaur has, base amount is specific to each specie. Grows as you evolve (level up) a specific dinosaur specie.
- Damage – the base damage a dinosaur specie deals with damaging moves. Grows as you evolve (level up) a specific dinosaur specie.
- Speed – a specie specific stat that does not grow with dinosaur level. Determines battle priority, aka who attacks first in arena battles, unless a priority move overrides it.
- Defense – a specie specific stat that does not grow with dinosaur level. Determines the end damage your dinosaur takes from opponent’s attacks.
You can increase a particular dinosaur’s specie stats by collecting DNA and evolving it.
Jurassic World Alive Health and Damage formula
There are only two stats which grow with evolution levels – health and damage. Speed and defence are specie specific and do not grow as your dinosaur evolves.
A member of our research Discord, mRt, found the formula used for calculating stats for Dinosaur power at every level:
ROUNDUP( StatLevel26 / (1,05 ^ (26 - CurrentLevel) ); 0)
Basically, your stats will grow roughly 5% each level, rounded down to 0 decimal places.
