Explorers!

Yesterday, the 5 Step Heavy Armor Strike event appeared in your neighborhood, and it’ll be live until the tomorrow.

Thankfully, the average level is around 20 so it SHOULD be completely doable for people with a team at level 15 or higher (with a little cunning and trickery). First, we’ll look at the enemies/order they come out, and then I’ll be recommending ideal counters in the rare and epic tiers for each stage.

Enemy Overview

Step 1:  Euoplocephalus (18), Ankylosaurus (19) (Starts Anky and will use Instant Invincibility turn 2)
Step 2:  Amargocephalus (19), Stegoceratops (20) (Starts Stegocera)
Step 3:  Ankylosaurus (20), Stegoceratops (21) (Starts Stegocera)
Step 4:  Ankylosaurus (20), Stegoceratops (21), Nodopatosaurus (22) (Starts Stegocera)
Step 5: Stegoceratops (21), Nodopatosaurus (22), Sinoceratops (23) (Starts Sino)

In the stages where you face 3 dinosaurs, the 2nd one selected appears to be random, so unfortunately we are unable to tell you the exact order you will experience.

Ideal Counters

Heavy armor (duh!), slowing and stunning are prevalent throughout the strike; so the accessible MVPs are Ankylocodon and Postimetrodon due to their immunity and armor-ignoring abilities. Other armor eaters such as Tyrannosaurus RexTyrannosaurus Rex Gen 2GorgosuchusGorgosaurusTarbosaurus and Allosaurus are all excellent choices to just power through this strike. If you don’t have 4 of these high enough level to take the requisite hits, you can also use bleeders such as Suchotator and Dimondactylus. Another excellent option for those who would otherwise struggle is the notorious Dracorex Gen 2.

Reward:

If you manage to pull this off, you’ll end up with an Epic Incubator with a total DNA count based on your current player level. Pretty sweet.

This themed incubator can only contain Armored dinosaurs, so the possible dna pool is:

Commons: Ankylosaurus Gen 2Euoplocephalus

Rares: AnkylocodonNodosaurus

Epics: AmargocephalusAnkylosaurus, NodopatosaurusSinoceratopsStegoceratops

(And if you get super lucky, you might just get a small amount of DNA for a heavily armored legendary/unique!)

In Conclusion

These five step strikes can be a real challenge for a lower level player. If your team level is at or above 20, or have excellent legendary counters such as Tryostronix, you really shouldn’t struggle with this. If your team is below 15, you will need to get a bit creative and may need to rely on favourable RNG!

Good luck out there! Let us know how it goes!
