It appears we have one week left of the tournament and one more opportunity to capture some of the fastest dinosaurs in the world of Jurassic World Alive.
Let’s take a look at what the week has in store!
Which Dinos to focus on?
With the recent announcements on hybrids, we may have to make some decisions on how to proceed this week.
The commons present the hardest decisions. Velociraptor is becoming harder and harder to find at night, and is essential for both Indominus Rex and Indoraptor. But the recently announced new super-hybrid that uses Monomimus DNA might mean a few of us are going to run low on Gallimimus. And with the incredibly useful unique dinosaur Dilorachierus, a case can also be made to focus most of your attempts on Deinocheirus. At least we won’t have to worry too much about Tanycolagreus — as we now know that isn’t getting a hybrid this time around.
In previous fast weeks, taking a break on Wednesday-Friday was perfectly acceptable, now it might be useful to stock up on Ornithomimus with the coming hybrid. There isn’t a lot we can do to get more Proceratosaurus, as that is presently an arena exclusive, but at least we can stock up on this half of the new Epic hybrid. Or you could go against the flow like I do and go all Delta. Actually, don’t do that. I want to be the only buffoon with a high level Delta.
For the Epics, it really doesn’t matter too much which one you should go after. Blue doesn’t have a hybrid but is a decent standalone Dino, while Pyroraptor has a great hybrid in Magnapyrator. Although in the past, Irritator was near impossible to obtain, these days it is a slightly easier component to come by. It seems to appear more often in battle incubators, can be traded for in Alliances, and we’ve at least had a few attempts to dart it over the last few months. Of course, if you haven’t unlocked Blue yet, you should do that now as you can’t find Blue anywhere else but in incubators and in the rare chance it is a featured dinosaur.
Overall it’ll be a slow week. Hopefully that’s because we’ll get a chance to see the patch notes. We’ve been predicting patch 1.6 will drop after the conclusion of the tournament and the conclusion of this fast week of creatures, and we still think that might be correct. So get out there and dart some dinos.
As always, comment down below your thoughts and let us know in our Discord what you’re darting!
