Next weeks dinosaurs have been announced and we are EXCITED to see them!
Let’s take a look at what the week has in store!
Which Dinos to focus on?
Patch 1.6 should be officially arriving on Monday after the tournament ends. With it, we’re going to see a lot of very interesting stuff that I’m so excited for!
One of which is this weeks dinosaur lineup. Yup. Darwinopterus is here. And while most of us would love to have both Darwin uniques, we’re all going to have to make some choices when it comes to which we go for first.
For the commons, going for the Monomimus unique may mean you wanna stock up on more Gallimimus. We already had a week of the Tarbosaurus running rampant and Tarbo isn’t so hard to find at night, so unless you’re close to leveling Thoralodosaur or creating it, maybe skip the Tarbosaurus. But if you’re not going for the Monomimus unique, it’s a great time to stock up on Deinocheirus for the extremely helpful Dilorachierus. Plenty of good options here.
For the rares, our decision becomes pretty easy. There will be some people who are leveling up Diorajasaur or unlocking it who would like a healthy helping of Tuojiangosaurus, but most of us will be darting Dilophosaurus for Diloranosaurus (and subsequently Dilorachierus). Presently, neither Wuerhosaurus or Arambourgiana make a hyrbid, so darting either is fine if you’re trying to project out what might be coming in a future update, but hit and runners are still going to be a big part of 1.6. Getting that Diloranosaurus and Dilorachierus up will be helpful for most teams.
For the Epics, we really have our hands tied. We’ve been waiting for a long time to get a shot at Erlikosaurus — commonly known as the golden chicken on the forums. It’s almost a little sad that it finally arrives at the same time as the Darwinopterus. For one, most people will be much closer to unlocking Erlidominus (or bringing it to team level for those who have it) than any of us will be with the Darwin uniques. So that means focusing on Erlikosaurus will help you much sooner than Darwin will. On the other hand, who knows how many opportunities we will get at Darwinopterus, and we may really regret not darting it if we start seeing more and more Darwin products show up in the arena. Oh, and almost everyone needs more Sinoceratops for hybrids like Allosinosaurus, Thoralodosaur, Utasinoraptor, and that pesky Utarinex.
There will be no shortage of things to do this week, and the weekend is going to be a tough one for many of us deciding on how we want to divide up (or if we want to divide up) those attempts. Hold on to your hats, folks. It’s going to be a wild ride.
As always, comment down below your thoughts and let us know in our Discord what you’re darting!
